Description

A mouthwatering mashup of cheeseburger flavors layered in warm, gooey lasagna, packed with cheesy goodness, savory bacon, and a hint of garlic.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the beef is cooked through.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by half of the beef mixture, half of the bacon, and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Repeat the layering process.
  8. Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and remaining cheeses.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.

Notes

Make sure to cook the beef well and drain any excess fat. Let the lasagna sit a little before cutting into it for beautiful, even slices.
