Description
A mouthwatering mashup of cheeseburger flavors layered in warm, gooey lasagna, packed with cheesy goodness, savory bacon, and a hint of garlic.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic, and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the beef is cooked through.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by half of the beef mixture, half of the bacon, and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat the layering process.
- Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with marinara sauce and remaining cheeses.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
Notes
Make sure to cook the beef well and drain any excess fat. Let the lasagna sit a little before cutting into it for beautiful, even slices.
