Description

Delightful lemon filling on a buttery graham cracker crust topped with whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth. Pour this mixture over the cooled crust.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set.
  7. Just before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe the whipped cream on top of the lemon filling.
  8. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor. These bars can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
