Description

A delightful and crispy dish of fried potatoes and onions, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Russet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Finely chop the onion.
  3. Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, adding enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add the potatoes and onions to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, letting the potatoes soften without stirring.
  6. Remove the cover, stir the potatoes, and flip them to ensure even browning.
  7. Continue cooking uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.
  8. Serve hot, and enjoy every delicious bite!

Notes

Cut uniform pieces for even cooking and don’t rush the cooking process for crispy texture.
