Ingredients
- 2 pounds Russet potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch cubes
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes.
- Finely chop the onion.
- Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, adding enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan.
- Add the potatoes and onions to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
- Cover the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, letting the potatoes soften without stirring.
- Remove the cover, stir the potatoes, and flip them to ensure even browning.
- Continue cooking uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown.
- Serve hot, and enjoy every delicious bite!
